Prof. Kayode Ademola Iroye. had his degrees of B.Sc., M. Sc. And Ph.D from University of Ilorin where he is currently lecturing in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science, Faculty of Social Sciences over the past 16 years.

He has at different periods served as Sub-Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, Acting Head of Department and Postgraduate Coordinator.

He has published over 50 publications in local, national and international journals and has successfully supervised over 15 Masters Dissertations and currently supervising three Ph. D. students. Professor Iroye belongs to a number of professional bodies amongst of which include Association of Nigerian Geographers, Nigerian Geomorphological Working Group, Nigerian Meteorological Society and others. He is currently serving as a member of Kwara State Committee on Ecology and Environment.
