Dr. Falilat Onundi Lawal is a lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ilorin. She holds a PhD in Geography, and her research interests include hydrology and water resources, environmental sustainability, urban and regional planning, disaster risk management, climate-related environmental challenges and climate change adaptation as well as geospatial analysis. Her research focuses particularly on household water security, water governance, water scarcity and adaptation, water quality, and the application of geospatial techniques to environmental resource management. She has to her credit several quality publications in reputable outlets covering journals, book chapters, and edited conference proceedings. She has served as a member of many committees both at the faculty level and department including faculty representative to the International Centre for Education, postgraduate seminar coordinator, fieldwork officer, students level adviser, undergraduate project coordinator, and welfare officer. She is a member of many professional bodies both within and outside Nigeria.
