Mrs Fatimah M. Shittu is a Geographer with specialization in Transportation Geography. Her research interests focuses on transport Systems, mobility patterns, transportation planning and the spatial interaction between transportation and regional planning development. She is passionate about understanding how efficient transportation networks drive sustainable development. She has contributed to teaching and research in the Department. She is committed to bridging the gap between geographical theory and practical transport solutions for Nigeria’s Development challenges.

She currently serve as the Secretary, Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Department of Geography and Environmental Management, University of Ilorin.
