Mission Statement

The underlying mission of the B.Sc. Geography and Environmental Management programme is to produce a crop of graduates equipped with appropriate knowledge and practical skills to make effective contribution to the development of Nigeria, Africa and the global community. This is achieved through the exposure to a broad foundation of knowledge in the field of Social Sciences in general and in the various sub-fields of Geography in particular. We also strive to instill in our students a strong spirit of innovation, work ethic and a dedication to serving their communities and country
